Colorado Migrant Education Program

The Colorado Migrant Education Program provides equitable resources and outcomes that ensure all migrant children and youth are postsecondary and workforce ready and that all families are empowered to succeed. In order to qualify for services, children must have moved within the past three years, across state or school district lines with or to join a migrant parent or guardian who is seeking to obtain qualifying temporary or seasonal employment in agriculture, fishing, or dairy industries.

Kristy Helms is the foster care, homeless and migrant education liaison for the district.
